There are many ways that the Village of Tigerton works to serve the community.  The following are the major departments of the village, including a description of their main functions.  If you need information on or assistance with a particular village function or service, these sections of the website should be helpful to you.

 

Administration: 

 

Responsible for overall village operations.  Key staff members include the Village President and Village Clerk/Treasurer. The Village office, located in the Community Center, is here to serve you.  Our duties are mainly related to overall village administration and ensuring smooth day to day operations.  The goal of the department is to execute all duties and responsibilities in a courteous, responsive and cost-effective manner.  The staff includes one full-time Village Clerk/Treasurer.   

 

Parks & Recreation:

 

Responsible for maintenance and programming in the Village's parks and Embarrass River Campground & ATV Park. Key staff members include the Park

Manager and park maintenance crew.

 

Public Safety:

 

Responsible for all safety and emergency activities in the city. Key staff members include the Police Department, Fire Chief, and Emergency Response Manager.
