ABOUT TIGERTON OHV PARK & CAMPGROUND

 

On behalf of the Tigerton Community, we welcome you to the

​

Tigerton OHV Park & Campground is over 500 acres of off-road excitement and a well-known scenic campground located in Tigerton, WI. The trails accommodate many types of vehicles from ATVs, SxSs, dirt bikes, and Jeeps/4x4s. We are one of the only off-road parks in the state. Our park is known for scenic trails of all levels. We are proud to be different from the rest, our campsites are spacious, affordable, and beautiful. Over half of our campsites sit alongside of the Embarrass River. Consider bring your fishing pole or your picnic basket, hike to the falls and enjoy lunch by a beautiful waterfall or watch the machines play on the rocks in our challenge area!

Tigerton OHV Park & Campground offers a variety of amenities including more than 28 miles of trail riding and hiking, camping, disc golf, and events! Consider coming to watch a Fantasy Moto Race see our events tab for the schedule. As many people do not know we have a Challenge Track. Our challenge track is open to ATVs & dirt bikes go play see what you can do!  Access to the Challenge Track is in your daily trail pass fee. Come enjoy and find yourself in the middle of nowhere.

Tigerton OHV Park & Campground also has a variety of additional offerings in addition to being your scenic off-road park and campground!

You can also use the park for commercials, photoshoots, weddings, pavilion rental, and foot races.

Embarrass River Park is about 1 hour west of Green Bay, 1 hour north of Appleton and 45 minutes east of Wausau. Located 1/2 mile east of Tigerton off County Road M.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Off-Road Trail FAQ 

Who can use the trails?  Trails are open to ATVs, SXSs, dirt bikes, and 4x4s.

​

What are the trail hours? 

All trails - Monday-Friday 8am-dusk

Challenge track- Saturday 9am-4pm/ Sunday 9am-1pm

​

Can I bring my full-size truck?  No, full size vehicles are not allowed. 

​

I want to bring my Jeep/4x4 to the park what is required?  You must have a road legal insured and registered vehicle. Full size vehicles are NOT allowed. If you are unsure if your classified as full-size call to ask! Examples of some of the machines allowed, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Tacoma, Ford Bronco, Toyota 4-Runner. Trucks like F150s & Silverado's are full sized and not allowed.

Do I need to wear a helmet? Helmets are required everywhere in our park and on the trails with all machines except, 4x4s and UTVs that are enclosed.

Do our trails connect to other trails? Our trails are privately owned and do no connect to other trail systems; what you see on our trail map is everything accessible from our campground. There is also a trail that goes into the Village of Tigerton allowing access to local businesses. ATVs & UTVs are allowed on Village Streets. But there are no trails going to other towns, etc..

How do I register? In order to ride the trails, you MUST have a DNR registration sticker on your machine. Registration is on the side of the main building. If a park attendant is not around, please use the self-registration envelopes and dropbox. All riders must complete the waiver before going on the trails. Anyone under 16 must complete the “minor” waiver.

​

Can my child ride on the trails? How old do you need to be to use the trails? According to DNR rules. Any age can ride an ATV so long as the machine is designated for that age. See the DNR rules for engine cc limits.If under the age of 12 no ATV safety is required but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Age 12- 15 you must have ATV safety certification and be accompanied by an adult.

16 and above you must have ATV certification per DNR regulation.

Can I use my OHM on the ATV, SxS, 4x4 Trails? Dirt Bikes (OHM) cannot be used on the ATV & SXS trails. You must stay on the single track marked area unless posted. 

​

Where do I get trail maps? You can find them throughout our main building, or you can look on this website under "Campground" or " OHV(trails)."

​

Is there a discount on trail passes while camping?  We only offer daily passes, campers receive $5 off each day pass. ATV, SXS, and OHM Daily Passes are $15/Day. Originally $20/Day.  (Jeep/4x4) Daily pass with camping is $25/Day originally $30/Day.

​

Can I camp on the off road trails?  We do not allow trail camping. You must reserve a campsite.

​

Campground FAQ 

How many sites do you have? 70 scenic sites from scenic wooded to spacious sites, offering both electric and non electric with many on the Embarrass River!

​

Can I reserve groups? Yes, you can do this online or call our park office at 715-535-2169.

​

Are pets allowed? Yes, they must be leashed and cleaned up after. 

​

What is our firewood policy? We sell firewood ONLY during office hours. Saturdays 8am-6pm/ Sunday -8am-12pm/ during the week 8am-4pm. It will still be self-serve but limit hours.

​

Do you have showers? Our showers are open 24/7.

​

Do our sites have water hookup and electricity? We do not have water at our sites. We do offer water fill stations throughout the park. Most of our sites have electricity you can see those sites online. 

​

What is our refund policy? In order to receive a refund, you must contact the park 48 hrs., in advance to get the refund. If you do not call the park within the time frame nor at all, you will not receive a refund. Weather conditions are expectable no matter the time, unless it's the day of your reservation.

​

Who can you use the dump station? Our campground guests can use the dump station with no cost! Visitors must pay the $5/fee.

​

How many people can be at one site?     For individual and group camping a total of 8 people and 2 cars per site is the max. 

 

What are the quiet hours? Quiet time is 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. and is strictly enforced. 

​

Other FAQ 

Is the park open to the public?  Yes, your welcome to hike, use the playground or play disc golf anytime! 

​

Is Fantasy Moto Racetrack apart of the park?  Fantasy Moto is a separate entity . This track is not open to our campers/riders.

​

Can I book my wedding, photoshoots, or gatherings here? Yes, please just let us know! We have pavilions you can rent! Contact our office at 715) 535-2169.
